The camera watches
Clamp it to a railing, wall or post. A 110° lens covers the zone you draw in the app, day and night, with infrared for low light.
The model identifies
Classification runs on the device. Cats, pigeons, crows and small mammals are separated from people and dogs before anything is triggered.
A precise burst of water
A servo-aimed nozzle tracks the animal and releases roughly 0.2 L. Timing and duration are randomised, so the behaviour never becomes predictable.

No electric shocks, no ultrasound, no chemicals, no traps, no bait. Pesti.ai works because animals dislike being surprised by water and stop choosing a spot that keeps surprising them — which is the same reason a garden hose has worked for a century, minus the part where you have to be standing there.
We will not claim more than that. Cats usually give up within a few days. Birds are harder: expect fewer visits and less nesting rather than an empty roof. Results vary with layout, water pressure and how stubborn your local wildlife is.

Will it spray my kids or my dog?
Person and dog classes are checked before the valve can open, and a person in frame pauses firing entirely. No system is infallible, which is why the app lets you set confidence thresholds and quiet hours.
Is it cruel?
It uses tap water and nothing else. The animal gets wet and leaves. There is no shock, no chemical, no ultrasound and no physical contact.
Does it need a subscription?
Yes. The Guardian requires an active Pesti.ai subscription. Detection still runs on the device rather than in the cloud.
What does it need to run?
A standard garden hose connection at 1.5–6 bar, a 12 V outlet, and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The clamp mount fits railings, posts and walls.
Does it work at night?
Yes. Infrared night mode is built in and the model is trained on low-light frames.
When does Gen 2 ship?
We will not invent a date. Waitlist members get manufacturing updates as they happen and allocations open in pass order.
